Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar

Day 2: Srinagar to Aru Valley

Drive from Srinagar to Aru Valley, a scenic base camp for the trek. Enjoy the picturesque drive through the Kashmir Valley. Reach Aru Valley and check into youraccommodation.Rest and acclimatize to the altitude.

Day 3: Aru Valley to Lidderwat

Start trekking from Aru Valley to Lidderwat, a beautiful meadow surrounded by pine forests. Trek through lush green meadows, crossing the Lidder River along the way. Arrive at Lidderwat and set up camp. Dinner and overnight camping at Lidderwat.

Day 4: Lidderwat to Satlanjan

Trek from Lidderwat to Satlanjan, a picturesque campsite located amidst breathtaking scenery. Ascend gradually, passing through dense forests and alpine meadows. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 5: Satlanjan to Tarsar Lake

Arrive at Tarsar Lake, a pristine alpine lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Set up camp near the lake. Dinner and overnight camping at Tarsar Lake.

Day 6: Explore Tarsar Lake

Spend the day exploring around Tarsar Lake. Enjoy leisurely walks along the lakeshore, take photographs, or simply relax amidst nature's tranquility. Optionally, trek to nearby viewpoints for panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Dinner and overnight camping at Tarsar Lake.

Day 7: Tarsar Lake to Sonamarg

Trek from Tarsar Lake to Sonamarg, a picturesque hill station in the Kashmir Valley. Descend gradually, passing through meadows and forests. Reach Sonamarg by late afternoon. Check into your accommodation and relax. Overnight stay in Sonamarg.

By Air: The easiest way to reach Srinagar is by air. Srinagar has an international airport, Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport, also known as Srinagar Airport. You can book a flight to Srinagar from major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and others. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or use public transportation to reach your accommodation in Srinagar.

By Road: Srinagar is well-connected by road to major cities like Jammu, Delhi, and Chandigarh. You can either drive to Srinagar or take a bus from these cities. The road journey to Srinagar offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan landscapes. However, it’s essential to check the current road conditions and travel advisories before planning your journey.

By Train: Srinagar does not have a railway station of its own. The nearest railway station is Jammu Tawi Railway Station, located approximately 270 kilometers away from Srinagar. From Jammu, you can either hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Srinagar. The road journey from Jammu to Srinagar takes around 8-9 hours, depending on the traffic and road conditions.

To ensure a hassle-free experience, we recommend making your booking at least two months in advance. If you do need to cancel your trek, please inform us in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive written advice.

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

We have designed a cancellation policy that is fair, feasible, and convenient for all our customers. The procedure is as follows:

  • If you cancel your trek 21 or more days before the start date, we will deduct 10% towards GST and transaction charges and refund 90% as a trek voucher valid for 1 year.
  • If you cancel your trek 15-20 days before the start date, we will deduct 30% towards GST, transaction, accommodation at base, ration, etc., and refund 70% as a trek voucher valid for 1 year.
  • If you cancel your trek 7-14 days before the start date, we will deduct 50% towards GST, transaction, accommodation at the base, ration, trek leaders, permits, equipment, etc., and refund 50% as a trek voucher that is valid for 1 year.
  • If you cancel your trek 1-6 days before the start date, we will deduct 100% as all arrangements have been made, and we are ready to take you on the trek.

  • The voucher will be valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.
  • The voucher can be used for any trek with Hello Hikers.
