Day 2: Aru to Gagad Pathri by Trek

Day 3: Gagad Pathri to Nafran Valley by Trek

Along the way, they pass by the quaint shepherd settlement of Kansal Pathri, immersing themselves in the rustic charm of the surroundings. As the journey progresses, the terrain gradually ascends towards Aaram Pathri, presenting trekkers with moderate challenges. Day 7: Bhaj Margi via Mondlan by Trek and Mondlan to Aru by Road

On the last leg of the journey, the trek begins from Bhaj Margi, leading through picturesque forests and meadows, showcasing the natural splendor of the region. After approximately six hours of gradual trekking, the path guides travelers to Mondlan village, nestled amidst serene landscapes at an altitude of 10,374 feet (3162 meters). Here, trekkers bid farewell to the tranquil mountainside, transitioning to a brief 20-minute drive to Aru. As the journey progresses along the road, spanning 8 kilometers, the altitude gradually descends to 7,920 feet (2414 meters) upon reaching Aru. From there, a scenic three-hour drive awaits, covering a distance of 103 kilometers to Srinagar, situated at an elevation of 5,200 feet (1585 meters).   • Backpack: A sturdy backpack with a capacity of at least 40-50 liters to carry all your essentials.
  • Trekking Shoes: Good quality trekking shoes with a good grip and ankle support.

  1. By Air: If you’re traveling from outside Kashmir, you can fly into Srinagar International Airport, which is the nearest airport to Nafran Valley. From there, you can hire a taxi or use other local transportation options to reach the valley. The airport is well-connected to major cities in India.
  1. By Road: If you’re already in Kashmir or nearby regions, you can reach Nafran Valley by road. The valley is accessible via the Srinagar-Gulmarg Road. You can hire a private taxi or use public transport such as buses or shared jeeps.
  1. By Train and Road: Another option is to take a train to Jammu, which is well-connected to major cities in India, and then proceed to Nafran Valley by road. You can either hire a taxi from Jammu or take a bus to Srinagar and then onward to the valley.

In such cases, the following cancellation policy will be applicable.

To ensure a hassle-free experience, we recommend making your booking at least two months in advance. If you do need to cancel your trek, please inform us in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive written advice.

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

We have designed a cancellation policy that is fair, feasible, and convenient for all our customers. The procedure is as follows:

  • If you cancel your trek 21 or more days before the start date, we will deduct 10% towards GST and transaction charges and refund 90% as a trek voucher valid for 1 year.
  • If you cancel your trek 15-20 days before the start date, we will deduct 30% towards GST, transaction, accommodation at base, ration, etc., and refund 70% as a trek voucher valid for 1 year.
  • If you cancel your trek 7-14 days before the start date, we will deduct 50% towards GST, transaction, accommodation at the base, ration, trek leaders, permits, equipment, etc., and refund 50% as a trek voucher that is valid for 1 year.
  • If you cancel your trek 1-6 days before the start date, we will deduct 100% as all arrangements have been made, and we are ready to take you on the trek.

We also have some terms and conditions for the trek voucher:

  • The voucher will be valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.
  • The voucher can be used for any trek with Hello Hikers.
